What Affects Value
Date, mint, variety, rarity, condition, and current collector demand all matter. Gold and silver coins also have precious-metal value. We consider both routes rather than assuming every coin should be valued in the same way.
Do not clean coins or remove them from fitted albums, capsules, or old paper envelopes. Cleaning can reduce collector value.
