From First Photo to Your Decision

Most customers complete the process within 7 days of getting in touch.

  1. Show Us What You Have

Send a few clear photos on WhatsApp or upload them online. You do not need to know the age, maker, or value. We will tell you whether the items look suitable and recommend the next step. There is no commitment at this stage.

  2. Choose Collection or Post Office Drop-off

If posting is suitable, choose collection from your address or take the parcel to a Post Office. Royal Mail can bring the collection label, or the Post Office can print it from a QR code we email to you. You do not need a printer.

  3. We Assess Every Item

The right specialist examines each piece properly, not just its scrap value.

    • Precious metals: weight, purity, hallmarks, and current market value
    • Jewellery and watches: materials, maker, condition, originality, and demand
    • Coins, medals, and collectables: age, rarity, condition, and buyer demand

We usually complete our assessment and reply within 24 hours. Larger collections may take a little longer, and we will keep you updated.

  4. Review Your Offer and Decide

We call to talk you through a clear, itemised offer and explain the details that affect the value. Offers are usually valid for 7 days, so there is no pressure to decide immediately.

    If you accept

We arrange payment by bank transfer, usually the same day during business hours.

    If you decline

We return every item by Royal Mail at our expense.

Questions Before You Begin

The important details, without the small print hunt.

Do I need to know exactly what I have?
No. A few clear photos and a short description are enough for a first look. We will tell you whether the items seem suitable and what information, if any, would help next.
Is it safe to post valuable items?
Please wait for our instructions before posting anything. If posting is suitable, we arrange the Royal Mail route and confirm the available cover before you send. Tell us if you think the parcel may need additional cover or special handling.
What if my items may be worth more than the postal cover?
Contact us before sending them. We can discuss the safest route, including an appointment or a visit for a larger collection where appropriate.
How do you work out the offer?
It depends on the item. We consider details such as material, weight, purity, maker, age, condition, originality, rarity, and current demand. We talk you through the relevant details when we make the offer.
What happens if I decline the offer?
There is no obligation to sell. We return every item by Royal Mail at our expense.
