What Affects Value
We consider the metal, stones, maker, age, design, condition, and current demand. Hallmarks and signatures can be important, but missing marks do not automatically make a piece unsuitable.
Some jewellery is worth more as a complete or collectable piece than for its metal alone. We check for that before discussing an offer.
Photos That Help
- A clear view of the complete piece
- The back, clasp, fittings, and any damage
- Close-ups of hallmarks, signatures, or maker’s marks
- Stones photographed in natural light where possible
- Original boxes, receipts, certificates, or family information
Do not polish the jewellery or try to remove stones. If you inherited a mixed box, an overview photo is enough to begin.
