What Affects Value

Maker, model, age, rarity, condition, and completeness all matter. Original boxes, instructions, inserts, accessories, and small parts can add value, even when the toy itself has been played with.

Do not repaint, repair, wash, or test old electrical toys before asking. Keep loose accessories and paperwork with the item they belong to where possible.

Photos That Help

  • The complete toy from several angles
  • Boxes, labels, model numbers, and maker’s marks
  • Wear, damage, missing pieces, or corrosion
  • Accessories, instructions, and packaging inserts
  • One overview showing the size of a larger collection

For mixed collections, start with the oldest-looking boxed items and a general photo of everything else.
